For the exhibition, “Symbiotic Spheres: The Interlocking Worlds of Glass, Science and Art,” gallery assistants were assigned to arrange a display case on its Y (vertical) axis from “Made by Industrial Methods” to “Made by Artistic Methods,” its X (horizontal) axis, “Made for Scientific Ends” to “Made for Artistic Ends.”
